Content Removal & Appeals
Tap is committed to maintaining a safe, consensual, and lawful platform.
If you believe content on Tap is illegal, non-consensual, infringes your rights, or otherwise violates our standards, you may submit a complaint or removal request using the form below.
We review and resolve all reported complaints within five business days. During review, we may remove or restrict access to the content while we investigate.
- We acknowledge your report by email.
- Where a report alleges that content is illegal or non-consensual, we restrict access to it while we investigate.
- We assess the content against our Terms, our Contributor Terms, and applicable law.
- We may contact the contributor who submitted the content, and any person depicted, where it is appropriate and safe to do so.
- We may request further information from you if we need it to reach a decision.
- We email you our decision, with reasons, within five business days of receiving your report.
Following our review, we may remove the content, restrict access to it, retain it where appropriate and lawful, request further information, suspend the relevant account, or take other action under our Terms and standards.
Any person depicted in content on Tap may request its removal if consent was not given, is no longer valid under applicable law, or the content otherwise violates our standards. If you disagree with our decision, you may appeal by replying to our decision email with any relevant additional information.
Where an appeal cannot be resolved directly, the matter may be referred to an independent neutral body at Tap’s expense.
Tap does not tolerate human trafficking, exploitation, or non-consensual content. We will report suspected instances to the appropriate authorities.
