Contributor Terms
To become a Contributor, you must be at least eighteen (18) years old, have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, and provide accurate identity and account information when requested by Tap.
Tap may require government-issued identification, proof of age, tax information, consent documentation, or other verification before allowing content to be published or payments to be made.
You retain ownership of the original content you submit to Tap, including photographs, videos, audio, writing, and other media (“Content”).
By submitting Content, you grant Tap a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, reproduce, display, stream, distribute, format, crop, adapt for technical or promotional purposes, market, and make your Content available through Tap and Tap-owned marketing channels for as long as the Content remains available through the Services.
This licence is limited to operating, promoting, and improving Tap and does not transfer ownership of your Content to Tap.
You represent and warrant that:
- You own the Content or have all rights, permissions, and licences necessary to submit it to Tap.
- Every person depicted, heard, or otherwise identifiable in the Content is at least eighteen (18) years old and has freely and knowingly consented to the creation, submission, and publication of the Content on Tap.
- You maintain valid proof of age and consent for every person depicted in your Content and will provide it promptly if Tap requests it.
- Your Content does not violate any law, infringe another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights, or breach any agreement or duty owed to another person.
- Your Content is not deceptive, exploitative, coercive, non-consensual, abusive, or otherwise prohibited by these Terms or Tap’s standards.
You may not submit Content depicting or involving minors, human trafficking, coercion, exploitation, sexual violence, non-consensual activity, or any unlawful conduct. Tap will report suspected trafficking, exploitation, or illegal content to the appropriate authorities.
Tap is a curated platform. We may review, approve, decline, restrict, suspend, edit for technical presentation, remove, or otherwise manage any Content or contributor account at our discretion.
We may take these actions for editorial, safety, legal, payment-processor, intellectual-property, privacy, consent, or business reasons. Tap is not required to publish any submitted Content and does not guarantee placement, visibility, sales, or earnings.
You may request that your Content be removed from Tap by contacting us at hello@tapful.app.
Tap will review removal requests promptly. Removal from public or member-facing areas does not require Tap to delete records or copies that must be retained for legal, compliance, fraud-prevention, accounting, payment-processing, dispute-resolution, or back-up purposes.
Any person depicted in Content may submit a removal request through Tap’s Content Removal & Appeals process. Tap may remove or restrict Content while an investigation is underway.
Where Tap offers payment or revenue-sharing to Contributors, the applicable payout terms, fees, timing, eligibility requirements, and payment method will be shown to you before payment is issued.
You are responsible for providing accurate payment and tax information and for reporting and paying all taxes arising from amounts paid to you by Tap. Tap may withhold or delay payments where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, chargebacks, policy breaches, legal concerns, or incomplete verification.
If you believe Content on Tap infringes your copyright or other rights, you may submit a report through Tap’s copyright and content-removal process.
If we receive a credible claim concerning your Content, we may remove or restrict the Content, pause related payments, and request further information from you. You agree to cooperate reasonably with Tap’s investigation of any such claim.
Tap may suspend or terminate your contributor access at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, submitted prohibited Content, provided inaccurate information, failed verification, or created legal, safety, payment, or reputational risk for Tap.
Sections that by their nature should continue after termination—including rights granted for Content already published, payment obligations, indemnity, dispute resolution, and record retention—will survive termination.
